With a successful history in economic development, fund management and banking René has developed an extensive commercial background that is complemented by postgraduate qualifications in commerce and property, both from Lincoln University.
René is involved in Ashburton Toastmasters and enjoys a range of outdoor pursuits, from chasing Rakaia salmon to hiking in the Southern Alps with his wife Lauretta and their 3 young children.
With a husband and a teenage daughter by her side Helen enjoys keeping fit by regularly walking half marathons in all districts of the South Island. Her other hobby outside of walking is gardening which she has a keen eye for.
Outside of work and study, Harry enjoys outdoor pursuits such as fishing and hunting.
Katy is born and bred in Canterbury. She and her husband have farmed in the region except for a period of sharemilking in Otago. She has a good understanding of the administration/financial aspects required to run a farming operation and is often called her Husband’s PA.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, enjoys playing hockey and watching rugby, and is involved with the local Playcentre Parents Committee.
With a husband at her side and two grown up children and a granddaughter she is a busy lady. Outside of that Lynn enjoys travelling and keeping fit.
Pauline and husband Richard own and operate a trade service business and when not deep in the books Pauline enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, gardening, and reading.
Lynda’s experience included being Practice Manager for New Zealand’s leading Orthodontic practice and being a HR Manager for a top national construction company. These required a high level of compliance, employee professional development, as well as a large volume of recruitment and complex employment agreements and resolutions.
At the weekends Lynda tries her hardest to keep up with Dave cycling as fast as she can.
